About ICSINTEXA

The International Conference on Smart Innovation, Intelligent Networks, Technological Excellence, and Automation (ICSINTEXA) The International Conference on Smart Innovation, Intelligent Networks, Technological Excellence, and Automation (ICSINTEXA) is an international scholarly forum initiated and organized by Universitas Balikpapan, Indonesia. The inaugural edition, ICSINTEXA 2027, will be held in a hybrid format on 14–15 April 2027 in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Under the theme “Advancing Smart Innovation through Intelligent Computing, Networks, and Automation,” ICSINTEXA 2027 brings together researchers, academics, engineers, industry professionals, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world to present original research, exchange scientific perspectives, and explore emerging developments in computing, engineering, and intelligent technologies.

The conference welcomes high-quality contributions across a broad range of research areas, including Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Networks, Automation, Data Science, Cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, Software Engineering, High-Performance Computing, Human–Computer Interaction, and other emerging digital technologies. Particular emphasis is placed on research that demonstrates scientific rigor, technological relevance, interdisciplinary value, and the potential to address contemporary challenges in industry, education, society, and sustainable development.

As an international platform for knowledge exchange, ICSINTEXA is designed to strengthen academic networks, encourage cross-border research collaboration, and bridge theoretical advances with real-world applications. Through keynote addresses, plenary sessions, technical presentations, and scholarly discussions, the conference provides an inclusive environment in which participants can disseminate research findings, develop professional partnerships, and contribute to the advancement of intelligent, connected, and automated systems.

The inaugural ICSINTEXA reflects Universitas Balikpapan’s commitment to advancing research excellence, technological innovation, and international academic collaboration from East Kalimantan to the global community. ICSINTEXA 2027 invites original, unpublished, and high-quality research papers that contribute to the conference theme and help shape a more intelligent, innovative, connected, and sustainable digital future.

We invite researchers, academicians, engineers, industry professionals, and practitioners to submit original and unpublished research papers. NO SHOW POLICY

All accepted papers MUST BE PRESENTED orally (Online or On-Site) during the conference in order to be included in the conference proceedings. Papers that are not presented will not be published in the proceedings.

Only accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore^® scope and quality requirements.

Your manuscript will undergo the review process after meeting the initial submission requirements:
- Prepared using the IEEE paper template.
- Written in English.
- Similarity score does not exceed 30%.
If your manuscript is ACCEPTED, please proceed with the registration process.
Revise your manuscript according to the reviewers’ comments and ensure that the final similarity score remains below 30% (the lower, the better).
Convert the final manuscript using IEEE PDF eXpress . Use the ICSINTEXA Conference ID: 12345X.
Upload the final manuscript, presentation slides, and all required supporting documents exclusively through EDAS.

Registration is available only after your manuscript has been ACCEPTED. The final manuscript can be uploaded only after the registration fee has been paid in full.

International Participants

Registration payment is made via EDAS using a credit card (USD). Payment confirmation is automatic. If your payment is successful, your status in EDAS will change to PAID.
